How It Works

The HA03646 is handmade: the basin walls are bent by hand from a flat sheet, and the corners are TIG-welded and ground smooth. This process allows for tighter corner radii (R10 versus R25 on drawn sinks), which increases the usable basin volume by approximately 8% in the same external footprint.

Wall Thickness and Rigidity

The 1.2 mm (18-gauge) wall thickness provides rigidity without the weight penalty of 16-gauge material. The sink weighs 4.2 kg — light enough for a single installer to position during undermount installation, but thick enough that the basin walls do not flex when a heavy pot is set down.
