1. How far does this fountain project from the wall?

The total projection is 150mm (approximately 6 inches) from the finished wall surface to the front face of the bubbler head. This includes the basin, frame, and bubbler. The shallow projection makes it suitable for corridors and passageways where building codes limit fixture projection into the circulation path.

2. Does this fountain require a chiller or refrigeration unit?

No. This is a non-refrigerated drinking fountain that dispenses water at the temperature of the building’s potable water supply. If chilled water is required, a remote water chiller can be installed in the wall cavity or mechanical room and connected to the fountain’s supply line. The fountain body does not accommodate an internal compressor.

3. Can this unit be installed outdoors?

This fountain is designed for indoor installation. For outdoor applications, we offer dedicated outdoor drinking fountain models with weatherproof construction, freeze-resistant valve options, and UV-stable finishes. Installing an indoor model outdoors will void the warranty and may result in premature component failure.

4. What wall construction is required for mounting?

The mounting plate is designed for standard wood stud walls (16-inch or 400mm centers) or masonry walls. For metal stud partitions, additional backing or plywood reinforcement may be required. The wall must support a minimum of 50 pounds of dead load. Detailed mounting instructions and load specifications are provided with each unit.

5. Is the bubbler height adjustable after installation?

The bubbler head is mounted at a fixed height on the basin. The overall fountain mounting height can be adjusted during installation to position the bubbler at the desired height for the user population (standard adult height, child height, or ADA compliant height). Once installed, the bubbler height cannot be changed without remounting the entire unit.
