Easy-to-install
Pull a vegetable crate onto the left drainboard, wash on bay one, rinse on bay two, slide drying pans onto the right wing, restock from the undershelf — all without leaving an 84-inch footprint. This unit replaces three separate stations in the prep line.
One Footprint, Four Workflows
A prep table with sink earns its place in commercial kitchens when it stops staff from walking. Wash, rinse, drain, and stage happen in sequence across one continuous 304 stainless deck. The two-compartment basin sits center; sloped drainboards extend left and right at the same deck height, so plates and pans glide rather than lift. Beneath, the full-length undershelf carries clean dish caddies, prep bowls, or sanitizer buckets.
Operations That Specify This Unit
-
High-volume restaurant prep lines (vegetable wash → cut → stage)
-
Hotel banquet kitchens running parallel garde-manger and pastry workflows
-
Bar back-of-house glassware wash stations needing dual-side drainage
-
Central commissaries and ghost-kitchen builds where one bench replaces three
-
Catering and event-rental fleets needing knockdown shipping between venues

Why Drainboards Matter on a Prep Table with Sink
A standalone sink without integrated drainboards forces staff to lay wet pans on adjacent counters — water migrates, contamination follows, and HACCP audits flag it. Sloped, deck-level drainboards welded to the same pour as the bowls keep water moving back into the basin. No silicone seams, no water-trapping joints.
Configuration Choices for Project Buyers
You don’t pick from a static SKU list — you assemble the unit before fabrication starts.
-
Length: choose 2100 / 2200 / 2300 mm, or specify a custom run (we’ve cut as short as 1500 mm and as long as 3000 mm for hotel banquet lines).
-
Bay layout: equal twin bowls (most common), or asymmetric (deeper wash + shallow rinse).
-
Drainboard direction: left only, right only, or both — driven by your wash-line traffic flow.
-
Hole pattern: pre-drilled for single faucet, pre-rinse spray arm, soap dispenser, or gooseneck.
-
Backsplash: flat back for island placement, or 150 / 250 / 400 mm rear splash for wall installation.
-
Undershelf style: tubular (drains best), solid (carry weight), wire grid (visibility for FIFO).
-
Mobility: fixed bullet feet, or 4× heavy-duty casters (2 with side-brake) for catering fleets.
Welded vs. Knockdown — Which to Order
-
Welded ships rigid in a wooden crate; install in 10 minutes (level the feet, plumb the drain). Best for fixed-location projects where freight cost per unit isn’t the binding constraint.
-
Knockdown (KD) ships flat in two cartons — top deck with bowls pre-welded, legs and undershelf bolted on site. Cuts container volume by roughly 55% and lets you load 90+ units in a 40’HQ instead of ~55 welded. Best for distributors restocking warehouse SKUs and for inland delivery beyond port-of-entry.
Customization Workflow
From RFQ to Container Loading
-
Send your kitchen elevation drawing or rough sketch with the wall length you need to fill.
-
Receive 2D shop drawing within 3 working days; 3D render available for tender packs.
-
Lock the spec sheet (bay sizes, drainboard direction, splash height, hole pattern).
-
Production runs 4–6 weeks for custom; QC, photo report, container loading scheduled with your forwarder.
Quality Control & Compliance
Every prep table with sink leaves the line only after passing:
-
Bowl-to-deck weld inspection (visual + dye penetrant on bay seams and drainboard joints)
-
30-minute water hold test on both bowls
-
Drainboard slope check — water clears within 90 seconds, no pooling
-
Dimensional check at ±2 mm on length, ±1 mm on bowl opening
-
Surface grain consistency — no cross-grain scratches, no weld discoloration
Factory holds NSF/ANSI 2, cUPC, CE, WaterMark, ISO 9001, and SGS audits. We provide mill test reports for the stainless coil and a unit-level QC photo log on request.

That unit is a compact 60-inch double-bowl sink with storage below and no drainboard, built for wash-and-stash tasks in tighter footprints. This prep table with sink runs longer (84–90 inches standard) and adds drainboards on both sides of the bowls, turning it into a full wash-rinse-drain-stage prep line rather than a wash-and-storage combo.
2. Is this suitable for outdoor or mobile catering use?
No. This is a fixed-installation prep table designed for indoor back-of-house prep lines, banquet kitchens, and commissaries. It is not built or marketed as a portable or weather-exposed outdoor unit.
3. Can the two compartments be sized differently for soaking versus rinsing?
Yes. A common configuration pairs a 500×500×350mm soak bay with a 500×500×250mm rinse bay; specify the deeper side at drawing stage so the underside framing is adjusted to match.
4. Do the drainboards have grooves, or are they flat?
Standard is a flat 1.5-degree slope toward the bowls with a raised perimeter edge, chosen for easier wipe-down with no debris traps. Embossed grooves for specific dish-machine workflows are available on request before drawing sign-off.
5. What gauge of stainless steel is used, and can it be upgraded for heavy institutional use?
The standard deck runs 1.2mm (approximately 18 gauge) in 304 stainless. Institutional kitchens with heavy daily traffic can upgrade to 1.5mm (16 gauge) or 1.9mm (14 gauge) on the same frame, with frame tubing upgradable from 1.2mm to 1.5mm wall thickness.
6. Can you brand the unit with our company logo for a distributed hospitality group?
